Cowboys' Elliott Could Face Legal Fight For "Feed Me" Trademark

Elliott as part of his "Feed Me" celebration mimics an eating motion after big plays and scoresGETTY IMAGES

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott is trying to trademark the phrase "Feed Me," but former pro wrestler Ryback "already owns the trademark ... and he's threatening legal action in a video posted on his YouTube channel this week," according to Stefan Stevenson of the Ft. Worth STAR-TELEGRAM. Elliott has the phrase included in a large tattoo he recently unveiled, and he has been "mimicking an eating motion after big plays and scores" during his career. Elliott also has "incorporated the phrase in his cause to fight hunger in Dallas-Fort Worth." However, Ryback said of the trademark, "He's not going to get it. The problem is this is exactly my phrase. And it's the same meaning and that will cause confusion" (Ft. Worth STAR-TELEGRAM, 10/1).
