BACK IN THE FOREFRONT: In Miami, Anthony Chiang reports this marks the "first time the Heat has been in the top five in team merchandise sales since the final season of the Big 3 era" in '14. It also marks Butler's "first appearance in the top 10 on the jersey sales list" since the '18-19 season. Rookie G Tyler Herro "has the second-most popular Heat jersey, as he finished just outside the top 15 at No. 16" (MIAMI HERALD, 10/1).

GROWING INTO HIS OWN: In Memphis, Evan Barnes writes Morant being the only rookie on the most popular jersey list "was a mild surprise." Pelicans rookie F Zion Williamson "led the NBA in memorabilia sold since his debut on Jan. 22 across the Fanatics network, which includes NBAStore.com." However, Morant's star "grew after he helped the Grizzlies reach the Western Conference play-in game." Morant is "beginning to see national recognition and is on his way to becoming one of the most high-profile players in franchise history" (Memphis COMMERCIAL APPEAL, 10/1).
