Dan Mannix Exiting Full-Time Role With CSM Sport & Entertainment

Mannix wants to spend more time building the True Colors Leadership FoundationDAN MANNIX

CSM Sport & Entertainment North America CEO DAN MANNIX is exiting his full-time role with the marketing and sales agency. The move comes four years after Mannix sold LeadDog Marketing, the event firm he founded in '99, to CSM. Mannix will continue as a "senior advisor" to the agency while CSM North America President CHRISTA CARONE will be the lead exec in the region, reporting to CSM Global CEO MATT VANDRAU. Mannix, who will remain on CSM's global BOD, said that while he will spend around a third of his time on agency matters, he wants to spend more time building the True Colors Leadership Foundation, a non-profit he launched two years ago to increase minority representation in sports business. "More than ever, it's evident that the makeup of sports business companies is not reflective enough of on-field personnel, and we'll try to rectify that," Mannix said. "I also look forward to overseeing some of our bigger CSM client relationships, and hopefully bringing in some new ones."
