COLIN KAEPERNICK is "linking his publishing label with the blogging and essay platform Medium and joining its board." Kaepernick Publishing will "create feature content focused on race and civil rights." Medium said that Kaepernick will "write stories, collaborate on features and conduct interviews for its race-focused Level outlet and the recently launched civil rights blog Momentum" (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 6/19).

NAMES: Loretto Sports Ventures President LAMAR HUNT JR., brother of Chiefs Chair & CEO CLARK HUNT, recently participated in a Q&A with the faith-based publication Patheos (PATHEOS.com, 6/18)....The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation announced that it was "making an additional $470,000 in grants to several organizations." The organizations are "focused on creating systemic change and ending the disenfranchisement of blacks, indigenous people, and all people of color" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 6/19)....Meanwhile, Atlanta’s pro sports teams will "take part in a virtual 5K run to raise money for social-justice education." The Atlanta Track Club announced the One Team ATL 5K in partnership with the Braves, WNBA Dream, Falcons, Hawks and United to "benefit the National Center for Civil and Human Rights" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 6/19).
