Chris Paul, "Blackballed" Producer, Reflects On Sterling Saga

Thunder G and NBPA President Chris Paul said working as a producer on the Quibi documentary "Blackballed," which details the early days of the '14 Donald Sterling saga, is something “that I’m glad I got a chance to be a part of." Paul: "Sometimes when things happen, right in that moment, you don't really appreciate it or take it all in the ramifications and what's going on." Paul also said he is grateful for the "opportunity to sit back and look at it and see the landscape that has transformed a lot of things as far as, athletes speak out on different issues." He added, "We were put in a tough situation because you got all these different people -- political leaders, family members -- are like, ‘You need to do this. You shouldn’t play. You can't play. What are you going to do?' ... I'm over here getting phone calls from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and I'm figuring out how I’m going to slow down Steph Curry” (“The Daily Show,” Comedy Central, 5/20).
