Sabres Offering Refunds Or Credits To Season-Ticket Holders

The Sabres yesterday offered season-ticket holders "credits or refunds for the six home games that have not been played while the NHL schedule has been on pause," according to Mike Harrington of the BUFFALO NEWS. Customers who are retaining their seats for the '20-21 season "will not have to make a payment until July 22 if they agree to credit for their accounts from the six games." The team is allowing the credit to "count as the first payment with no additional money needed." Initial payments for next season "had been due May 22." By taking the credit, fans also will "get the choice of a $100 Sabres Store gift card or 10 surface lot parking passes adjacent to KeyBank Center." Fans who "would prefer refunds for the games have been given that option, without the added perks" (BUFFALO NEWS, 5/19).

END OF GRACE PERIOD: In Las Vegas, David Schoen reports the Golden Knights are "no longer allowing season ticket holders to defer payment" for the '20-21 season. The team yesterday sent an email notifying season-ticket holders that their "next payment will be processed Wednesday." Season-ticket holders "were given the option of delaying their payments in March and April due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that is no longer the case" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 5/19).
