Outgoing UCLA AD DAN GUERRERO was named United States International University Sports Federation President. Guerrero, who is "set to retire from his position at UCLA" on June 30, will begin in his new role on July 1. His term at the USIUSF runs through '24. Guerrero has been involved with the federation since '15 and "formerly served as vice president" (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 5/9).

EXECS: Gaunt Brothers Racing named former NASCAR industry veteran NICK OLLILA Technical Dir. Ollila, who comes to GBR most recently from Australia’s Supercars Series, will help the team develop its Next Gen car that will debut in ‘22 as well as improve its current No. 96 Toyota. Team Owner MARTY GAUNT started running full time in NASCAR this season with driver DANIEL SUAREZ, manufacturer Toyota and sponsors Coca-Cola and CommScope. He told THE DAILY: “The hiring of Nick and some other folks that we’re bringing on board is all geared toward what the future of GBR looks like in NASCAR” (Adam Stern, THE DAILY).
