BridgeAthletic Partners With Kitman Labs to Enhance Athlete Training

Digital training platform BridgeAthletic has partnered with Kitman Labs to allow for real-time integration of an athlete’s workout performance into Kitman’s data monitoring platform. The partnership comes at a time when COVID-19 has forced athletes to train in isolation away from their trainers and coaches.

BridgeAthletic allows coaches and trainers to build personalized training programs for athletes to access inside the company’s app. Athletes can upload their training workload data into the app, which will now be streamlined into the Kitman Labs analytics platform. Kitman’s management platform for tracking performance and injury data is used by more than 500 professional teams across leagues such as the NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, and English Premier League.

“Having the complete visibility to all the components of our athlete’s profile provided by the integrated BridgeAthletic and Kitman Labs solutions right at our fingertips is critical to our decision making about athletic development at all levels in our organization, particularly right now as we are training athletes remotely,” Nick Milonas, head of performance at the Portland Timbers, said in a press release.

BridgeAthletic powers workout programs for more than 250 teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Earthquakes, and USA Rugby. The San Francisco-based company also works with schools from each of the NCAA’s Power 5 conferences.
