Buyers & Sellers: Matt Holliday Sells Florida Home For $8.5M

Former MLBer MATT HOLLIDAY sold his riverfront mansion in Jupiter, Fla., for $8.5M. The estate spans about two-thirds of an acre and overlooks the Loxahatchee River. The main house and guesthouse "combine for seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms in over 9,100 square feet." For amenities, there is an "elevator, wine cellar, air-conditioned eight-car garage and a movie theater with a wet bar" (L.A. TIMES, 3/11)....DWYANE WADE and his wife, GABRIELLE UNION, have listed their Sherman Oaks, Calif., home for $6.2M. Set on a high hillside with "panoramic mountain and valley views, the bulky, almost 8,700-square-foot white-stucco neo-Mediterranean villa has five bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms over three levels of luxurious living" (VARIETY.com, 3/9)....Former NFLer LANGSTON WALKER has sold his contemporary Bay Area home for $1.75M, $100,000 below what he paid for it in '07. The home "holds four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in just over 4,000 square feet." The space includes a "hillside deck" which "takes in sweeping views of the Bay Area and three of its bridges" (L.A. TIMES, 3/11).
