In DC, Steven Goff reports DC United is in negotiations with Sinclair Broadcasting Group about "returning as the local TV partner," after the team's "disastrous move to a streaming service last season and faltering talks with NBC Sports Washington this winter." A source said that Sinclair is the "front-runner to carry 27 matches" on its local outlet WJLA-ABC, which showed DC United's matches from '16-18. Last season, the club signed a four-year, $12M deal with FloSports to stream its games, but the two "severed ties" days before the regular season finale (WASHINGTON POST, 2/12).

HOW SWEET THE SOUND: Former MLBer Mark Grace is joining Marquee Sports Network as an analyst, where he will provide "pregame, in-game and postgame analysis" for the Cubs. After retiring in '03, Grace served as an analyst for Fox Sports and FS Arizona for "parts of the last 16 years." Grace returned to FS Arizona's D-backs booth in '17, and Marquee said that he will "continue in that role while working select Cubs broadcasts." Marquee also added Big Ten Network's Elise Menaker as a field reporter (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 2/12).

RADIO NOTES: Dallas-based KTCK-AM announced Bob Sturm will take over as a co-host of its 3:00-7:00pm CT time slot alongside Corby Davidson.
