B/R Gridiron Recording Live Shows In Miami For Super Bowl LIV

Bleacher Report's new B/R Gridiron vertical is having "something of a coming-out party during this week's lead-up" to Super Bowl LIV, according to Kayleigh Barber of DIGIDAY. Today through Sunday, Bleacher Report is "staging a multiple-studio event" in Miami Beach, where attendees "will be able to attend live recordings of B/R shows and CNN programming." Bleacher Report "expects as many as 5,000 people will attend its events" in Miami Beach. Since Bleacher Report launched the platform last year during its Q3, the B/R Gridiron Instagram account has "attracted more than 500,000 followers." Bleacher Report CRO Stefanie Rapp said that 10% more people "consumed NFL content through Bleacher Report's mobile app" last year than in '18. Barber notes Bleacher Report for the first time is "selling sponsorship opportunities for its Super Bowl coverage." Three of the four sponsors, including Taco Bell, State Farm and Wrangler, have "previously purchased Bleacher Report ads," with frozen pizza brand DiGiorno serving as the fourth sponsor (DIGIDAY.com, 1/29).
