The Great 8: Lamar Jackson Outsells Other Athletes On Cyber Monday

Jackson is the front-runner to be the NFL MVP, so it is no shock his merch is selling wellFANATICS

The popularity of Ravens QB Lamar Jackson continues to grow, as he "outsold every other athlete in total merchandise" on Cyber Monday through all Fanatics outlets, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The top-selling item for the day, which is seen as the largest online shopping day during the holiday season, was Patriots QB Tom Brady's No. 12 jersey (TWITTER.com, 12/3). USATODAY.com's Matthew Stevens writes with Jackson "currently the frontrunner for the NFL's MVP, about to set the single-season rushing record for quarterbacks and leading the best team in the league, there's little wonder as to why fans were buying up his merchandise" (USATODAY.com, 12/4).

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR: Bloomberg's Eben Novy-Williams noted Fanatics will do "more than *half* of its total annual sales" -- which is expected to be more than $2.5B --between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fanatics had its "highest sales day ever on Black Friday, then set a new record" on Cyber Monday (TWITTER.com, 12/3).
