Browns Continue To Dominate NFL Sales Lists Ahead Of Season

With the NFL season opening this week, the biggest licensing news continues to center on the Browns, as they are third in sales since April 1 across all Fanatics sites. Browns QB Baker Mayfield is the top-selling player during that period, while teammate WR Odell Beckham Jr. is fifth. Top-selling items in that period are jerseys from Mayfield and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Fanatics also reported brisk sales for items including the new NFL 100th season logo. NFL Senior VP/Licensing & Consumer Products Michelle Micone said the NFL 100 program reaches across hundreds of products and more than 20 licensees, including Mitchell & Ness, New Era, 47 Brand, G III, Highland Mint, Northwest, Vineyard Vines and Wilson. Some intriguing NFL-licensed products debuting this season include high-end sunglasses ($176-196) from new on-field licensee Oakley and an electric car for kids from Party Animal ($400). Also, with the NFL now more tolerant of gambling, licensee Masterpiece is producing team-logoed poker chips and dice, while Imperial is selling logoed poker-table tops.
