Kids Will Get Into Royals-Red Sox Restart Free On Aug. 22

The Red Sox are "offering kids free admission" to Fenway Park on Aug. 22, while concession stands will "offer a host of kid-friendly items for $1" and other items at half price, according to Matt Porter of the BOSTON GLOBE. The club said that there will be "no charge for those 18 and under for that day’s restart with the Royals." All other fans can "get in for $5, with proceeds from those tickets donated to the Jimmy Fund." The Red Sox and Royals at 1:05pm ET that day will "resume their game from Aug. 7, suspended by rain in the top of the 10th inning with the score tied at 4." All "newly purchased tickets ... will be general admission" (BOSTON GLOBE, 8/17).
