WBZ Dominates Boston Sports Radio's Spring Ratings

Boston sports radio's latest "ratings showdown" turned into a "runaway win" for WBZ-FM, according to Chad Finn of the BOSTON GLOBE. WBZ finished first in the men 25-54 demographic from March 28-June 19, while WEEI-FM came in fourth. WEEI's numbers include its online stream and the share it gets from Providence-based WVEI-FM in the Boston market. Without those, it "would have been fifth." WBZ' online stream also is "included in its share." In the morning drive window (6:00-10:00am ET), WBZ' "Toucher and Rich" was first, while WEEI's "Mutt and Callahan" was fifth. In the afternoon drive, WBZ' "Felger and Massarotti" remained the "highest-rated sports program in the market." WEEI's "OMF" show came fourth (BOSTON GLOBE, 7/12).
