In Minneapolis, Chris Hine noted T'Wolves G Josh Okogie "spent a day with a handful of other NBA players seeing how NBA TV and TNT put together their programming" as part of the NBA's Career Crossover Job Shadow Program. Okogie "spent about 10 hours touring different sets, meeting all sort of people, including those who work in production" and former NBAers who "serve as hosts on shows such as 'Inside the NBA.'" Okogie said, "It's just so much more than what we see on TV going on" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 7/12).

FINDING A NEW ROOST: In West Palm Beach, Jake Elman noted FAU and its multimedia rightsholder Florida Atlantic Sports Properties have reached a five-year "broadcast agreement with Hubbard Radio for Owls football and men's basketball games" to air on WMEN-AM beginning this fall. WMEN will "take over the flagship rights" from Good Karma Brands and ESPN Radio 106.3 West Palm Beach (PALMBEACHPOST.com, 7/10).
