CSM LeadDog Wins Best in Sports Event And Experiential Marketing

CSM LeadDog's work with the USTA and PGA and LPGA tours helped it win this year's awardMARC BRYAN-BROWN

CSM LeadDog took top honors for the second time, stunning North America President & CEO Dan Mannix, who noted his agency had won in '16 but hadn’t made the final round since. Work with properties including the USTA and PGA and LPGA tours helped put CSM LeadDog over the top. “We try to maintain the attitude that we’re only as good as our last activation,” said Mannix, who shared the stage with seven co-workers, while accepting the award. “Still, the U.S. Open work (tennis and golf) stood out, along with our WWE work, which has been growing for some time, along with the sports tech companies, which are so active now, and our cause marketing/social impact programs -- we are doing more and more of those.” Whatever happens, this year will be the last time CSM LeadDog wins a Sports Business Award. Mannix said the agency is dropping LeadDog from the agency name this week.
