In Newark, Brian Fonseca noted MLB put Union Jack-themed hats on sale "ahead of the two-game series" between the Yankees and Red Sox in London next month, and they "look pretty British upon first glance." The Yankees and Red Sox hats with the Union Jack design are on sale on MLBShop.com. Other specialty caps on sale include Yankees RF Aaron Judge and Red Sox RF Mookie Betts-themed hats, ones with the "iconic Big Ben and another with a London series crest." On the field, players will "rock their standard caps with a twist -- a London series patch will be included on the side" (NJ.com, 5/22).

SPIDEY SENSE IS TINGLING: In Utah, Eric Woodyard cited a source as saying that Jazz G Donovan Mitchell's signature sneaker, the D.O.N Issue #1, is "now set to release online at Adidas.com on July 1 for $100." The online release will be "followed by a retail release in stores such as Foot Locker and Champs on July 5, in conjunction with the 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' movie." Sources said that Mitchell will then "leave July 6 for a trip to Asia, France and Germany with Adidas" (DESERET NEWS, 5/20).

FREAKY FRIDAY: SI.com's Khadrice Rollins noted Swedish milk producer Milko debuted a new commercial featuring "younger versions" of Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brother, Mavericks F Kostas Antetokounmpo, imagining "what their lives will become by continuing to pursue their dream of playing professional basketball" (SI.com, 5/19). In Milwaukee, JR Radcliffe noted there is one "particularly electric altered screen shot of 'young Giannis' looking at his shadow, an altered image fusing two successive shots from the commercial together" (JSONLINE.com, 5/19).
