Chiefs Chair & CEO CLARK HUNT has been appointed to chair the NFL Finance Committee by Commissioner ROGER GOODELL, replacing late Texans Owner BOB MCNAIR. Hunt has served on the Finance Committee for seven years, and in taking the role will give up his place as chair of the Int'l Committee. Goodell appointed Buccaneers co-Chair JOEL GLAZER to that role. Glazer also co-owns EPL club Manchester United. Hunt will remain on the Int'l Committee. Goodell appoints all committee members, except for those on the Compensation Committee. New members of that committee are voted on by their peers (Daniel Kaplan, THE DAILY).

HEADED WEST: FS Detroit Red Wings analyst DARREN ELIOT is leaving the RSN to join the Golden Knights as VP/Hockey Programming & Facility Operations. Eliot will be "directing facility operations for City National Arena, the Golden Knights' practice rink, along with overseeing the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights hockey program." Eliot had been with FS Detroit since '11 as pre- and postgame and between-periods analyst (DETROITNEWS.com, 2/13).

EXECS: CBS Corp. named RICK MCCABE VP/Corporate Communications (CBS)....Long Beach State named CAMDEN STOCKTON Associate AD/Development. The athletic department also named ADAM GARELIK Development Assistant and promoted DAVID KIM to Ticket Coordinator (LBS)....MLB VP/Community Affairs & Educational Programming TOM BRASUELL will step down on Feb. 22. Brasuell is also leaving his position as MLB Charities President (MLB)....Communications & marketing firm PRCG | Haggerty hired JIM ROCCO to lead its new sports marketing group. Rocco previously worked at HBO Sports and Barclays Center (PRCG)....Seattle's expansion NHL franchise named TODD HUMPHREY Senior VP/Digital & Fan Experience. He will "implement evolving technology into the fan experience at the remodeled" KeyArena (SEATTLETIMES.com, 2/13).
