NBA Sponsors Ready To Debut New Creative During Christmas Games

NBA corporate sponsors have fashioned a hearty holiday helping of activation programs around the NBA’s quintet of nationally televised games on Christmas Day. Jack Daniel's, Budweiser and Mtn Dew Ice will showcase new creative, as will State Farm, which is presenting sponsor of the ESPN/ABC Christmas telecasts. The Budweiser spot is a responsible drinking message that includes Lakers F Kyle Kuzma, Thunder C Steven Adams and Knicks G Tim Hardaway Jr. Kia will continue to support its #KiaWhoYaGot sweepstakes with a Christmas Day enhanced experience where fans can predict winning teams and key matchups. Nike will debut “Earned Edition” uniforms for the Bucks, Rockets, 76ers, Celtics, Warriors and Jazz. Various players will wear new sneaker colorways, and the league is launching @NBAKicks, a new footwear platform. AmEx has been running a cause-related program throughout the holiday shopping season benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs. The NBA’s Christmas Day slate tips off at 12:00pm ET with Bucks-Knicks on ESPN, followed by Thunder-Rockets (ABC), 76ers-Celtics (ABC), Lakers-Warriors (ESPN) and Trail Blazers-Jazz (ESPN).
