A new documentary, “TOUGH GUY: THE BOB PROBERT STORY," will premiere on Thursday in the late former NHLer's hometown of Windsor, Ont. The film is "bigger than hockey," as it is a "familiar, universal story for families who are struggling with drug addiction or alcoholism." It is "gripping, emotional and remarkable for its bare-knuckle honesty." Probert was "one of the first NHL players" to be diagnosed with CTE. He "died of heart failure" in '10 at the age of 45 (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 12/9).
