Fox Sports promoted FS Ohio and SportsTime Ohio Senior VP & GM FRANCOIS MCGILLICUDDY to President of the Big Ten Network. McGillicuddy will move to Chicago early next year when his new job officially starts. He replaces MARK SILVERMAN, the well-respected exec who moved from Chicago to L.A. in January to become Fox Sports President of National Networks. He has been handling both responsibilities since then. McGillicuddy, like Silverman previously, will report to a BTN board made up, in part, of conference and network execs. McGillicuddy is a sports media veteran with decades of experience in regional and national networks. Before taking the job to run the Ohio RSNs six years ago, he held jobs with Speed, Rainbow Sports Networks and MSG (John Ourand, THE DAILY). 

EXECS: Fenway Sports Management promoted Managing Dir MARK LEV to President, effective immediately. Lev will continue to report to Red Sox President & CEO SAM KENNEDY. Lev has been with FSM since '05 and was one of the first members of the company's leadership team after its founding in '04 (FSM)....The MLB Giants officially named the following: Mets Special Assistant J.P. RICCIARDI Senior Advisor to the President of Baseball Operations; Brewers Special Advisor to Scouting ZACK MINASIAN Dir of Pro Scouting; and A's Assistant Scouting Dir MICHAEL HOLMES Dir of Amateur Scouting (Giants)....The WNBA L.A. Sparks promoted Dir of Corporate Sponsorships CAROLINE YOUNG to VP/Corporate Sponsorships (THE DAILY)....U.S. Soccer Federation COO RYAN MOONEY is "leaving the governing body to help run a new sports business venture" called Playmakers Management Group. The venture was formed by Union minority Owner RICHIE GRAHAM (PHILLY.com, 12/11)....The Crown League, a professional fantasy football venture, named Topps Digital Dir of Product JOSH BABICH to the same position and SEAN FELTER VP/Investor Relations & League Development (TCL)....BDA Sports promoted the following: SHAUNA SMITH to VP & Chief Strategy Officer; JODY YAEGER to Senior Dir of Client Management; and ROBERT KINNARD to Exec Dir of Global Marketing (THE DAILY)....Kore Software appointed 49ers President AL GUIDO to its BOD (Kore).
