Sources: NFL Jets Sign Deal With Gambling Firm 888 Holdings

The NFL Jets "signed a sponsorship contract" with Gibraltar-based gambling company 888 Holdings, according to sources cited by Josh Kosman of the N.Y. POST. 888 Holdings "operates both an online casino and a sports betting site." The "fruits of the deal were already on vivid display" at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, with several digital signs displaying the company's website. Sources said that the ads "don't violate league policy because they don't specifically name" the company's sports-betting site, 888sport, and the 888.com site also had "links to poker and casino portals." Earlier this month, the Ravens "announced a partnership" with Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, and in September, the Cowboys "cut a deal" with WinStar World Casino (N.Y. POST, 10/30).
