Cowboys Are First NFL Team To Sign Casino Sponsor

Cowboys

The Cowboys are the "first team to announce" a sponsorship with a casino. Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones said that WinStar World Casino & Resort in Oklahoma is now the "official casino of his team." This comes after NFL owners recently "relaxed rules allowing sponsorships from casinos that operate sportsbooks in light of the Supreme Court ruling" to legalize sports betting (PROFOOTBALLTALK.com, 9/6). The deal gives WinStar exclusive use of the team’s logos and marks. Today's press conference announcing the deal was held at The Star in Frisco (Cowboys). WinStar also sponsors the PBR event at AT&T Stadium (THE DAILY).
