The Saints have a new cocktail tavern at Mercedes-Benz Superdome honoring late Owner Tom Benson. The Corner Office Specialty Cocktails & Tavern recreates Benson's office and has more than 100 of his personal effects and old photos. The project was led by Benson's widow and current Saints Owner Gayle Benson. The space replaces the Pantheon Club (Mike Sunnucks, Staff Writer).

FOR A GOOD CAUSE: Titans LB Kamalei Correa and his agent, David Canter, both agreed that Correa will "donate his two tickets for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami to 'two deserving inner city youth.'" Correa said, "[Canter] was like, 'If you’re not going to use your tickets this week, let’s use it for a meaningful purpose.'" Correa is also donating the tickets "in honor of Colin Kaepernick and Nike" (TENNESSEAN.com, 9/6). Meanwhile, the AP cites sources as saying that Kaepernick watched his Nike ad's "first television airing" on NBC during Thursday night's Falcons-Eagles game at an event held at the shoe company's HQ in Beaverton, Ore. (AP, 9/6).

FACING THE CONSEQUENCES: Former NFLer Mychal Kendricks on Thursday pled guilty to insider trading charges and "faces a likely prison sentence" for gaining information about Compuware that "had not yet been made public." Kendricks last week was charged "by federal prosecutors in Philadelphia with partnering with co-defendant Damilare Sonoiki to obtain inside information in exchange for kickbacks." Kendricks during the two-year scheme earned $1.2M and paid Sonoiki $10,000 in kickbacks "as well as perks such as Eagles tickets" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/6).

NAMES: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell attended Thursday's Falcons-Eagles game and was "seen on the field beforehand" speaking to rapper Meek Mill. NFLPA Exec Dir DeMaurice Smith was "returning from a trip to visit players on the West Coast and was not in attendance" (WASHINGTON POST, 9/7)....Rapper Eminem will be "part of the coin toss" at Ford Field when the Lions kick off their season against the Jets on Monday (FREEP.com, 9/6).
