Former Rutgers AD JULIE HERMANN was reportedly given approximately $500,000 more than she was owed by the school after being fired in November '15 without cause "in exchange for agreeing not to sue the university for wrongful termination." At the time of her dismissal, she "had 31 months left on a contract that paid her a base salary of $450,000 annually." That "worked out" to $1.1625M (NJ.com, 8/2).
