Stack Sports Signs Deal With BSN Sports Around Youth Sales

Dallas-based software and technology company Stack Sports has struck a large-scale partnership with sporting goods and team apparel marketer and distributor BSN Sports centered around youth sports sales. The multiyear alliance involves cross selling between Stack’s portfolio of functions, including youth sports registration and payment processing, and BSN Sports’ network of sales professionals. Financial terms were not disclosed. The partnership follows Stack Sports’ recent rebranding from its prior identity of Blue Star Sports and the acquisition of BSN Sports’ parent, Varsity Brands, by Bain Capital in a reported $2.5B deal. “We are focused on executing category-specific partnerships that can enrich our ecommerce ecosystem,” said Stack Spots President & CEO Alex Alt.
