Toyota To Be Presenting Partner For FIS Event In Park City

Toyota will serve as the presenting partner of the '19 FIS World Championship in the freestyle, snowboard and freeski disciplines that is being held in Park City, Utah. U.S. Ski & Snowboard Chief Commercial Officer Dan Barnett said global governing body FIS held the rights, but turned them over to USS. As part of its deal with USS, Toyota would be granted the rights if FIS did not sell them. USS hopes to sell other World Championship rights as part of quadrennial packages with current and future USS sponsors, Barnett said. The event runs Feb. 1-10 in Park City and surrounding resorts.
