Rams Exec VP/Football Operations & COO Kevin Demoff said that the team and Nike have "worked together the last few months in starting the process for a redesigned uniform and that the Rams probably would make an announcement about a timeline in the coming weeks." In L.A., Gary Klein noted since their return to Southern California after a two-decade absence, the Rams have been "planning a major rebrand, including uniforms." Demoff said that the Rams will "decide by the end of this spring whether to introduce redesigned uniforms" in '19 or '20 (L.A. TIMES, 5/11).

HOT MARKET: In Houston, Craig Hlavaty noted local companies Running Game Clothing and Canned Oxygen Design have become "sought-after among H-town supporters" due to their specialized gear for fans who are "bored with typical name brand stuff sold in chain stores." The Rockets' recent run of good fortune is "making Travis Drake with Running Game Clothing busier than usual." Drake pays attention to "rallying cries and player nicknames to stay ahead of the curve and come up with new designs for Houston sports teams." Canned Oxygen's Tyler Fatherree said that "work is almost non-stop." A set of shirts casting Astros and Rockets greats as "pixelated characters have both sold well in their own right and become favorites on Instagram" (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 5/10).
