Mike Mossholder Joins Esports Supporter Vision Venture Partners

Former UFC Exec VP/Global Marketing Partnerships MIKE MOSSHOLDER has joined private equity firm Vision Venture Partners as Chief Business Officer. Vision, founded by former NBAer RICK FOX, venture capitalist AMIT RAIZADA and former Sharks minority owner STRATTON SCLAVOS, is best known as the owner of Vision Esports and its League of Legends team Echo Fox. Mossholder in his new role will oversee all marketing and sales operations for VVP, with an emphasis on expanding brand recognition and revenue growth. “After working with some of the biggest brand partners in my previous role with the UFC, I recognized that the next great opportunity to make an impact in a nascent sport is the burgeoning esports industry,” said Mossholder. Along with Echo Fox, Vision Esports also operates video game record-keeper Twin Galaxies and esports content creator Vision Entertainment. Vision Esports’ investors include Evolution Media, the investment firm backed by CAA, TPG Growth and the Yankees.
