In Charlotte, Joe Marusak notes Panthers fans have "panned the 'Two States. One Team' moniker" on the front of the team's new NFL Draft cap. Fans said that it should have "included the team's fan-favorite 'Keep Pounding' slogan," which only appears on the "flip side of the cap." New Era unveiled the hats "draftees will sport at the NFL Draft April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium" (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 4/11).

NICE SET OF WHEELS: South Korean tennis player Hyeon Chung has signed with luxury auto brand Genesis. Chung, currently the highest-ranked Asian player on the ATP World Tour, becomes the South Korean brand's first global ambassador and will wear the automaker's patch on his left sleeve. The sponsorship of Chung, who is repped by IMG, marks Genesis' first foray into tennis (IMG).

GOPHER BROKE: IMG College has extended its partnership with the Univ. of Minnesota to continue to manage the school's trademark licensing program (IMG College).
