UFC Re-Signs Monster Energy To Multiyear Deal That Keeps Octagon Logo Placement

The UFC has signed a multiyear extension of its global partnership with Monster Energy, in which it will continue to serve as the “Official Energy Drink” of the MMA property. As part of the deal, Monster will continue to have center canvas and entrance logo placement inside the Octagon at events. The two brands also will work in conjunction on retail promotions during UFC events in select markets. The deal was completed in-house with Monster. UFC Senior VP/Global Partnerships Paul Asencio said, “Monster will be a consistent presence throughout the year as UFC celebrates its historic 25th anniversary.” He added, “As UFC continues to expand and host events in new countries around the world, Monster will play a key role in helping UFC make an immediate and expansive impact with fans.” Monster’s logo will also remain on the UFC Fight Night Collection apparel of its sponsored UFC athletes. Those athletes include Max Holloway, Conor McGregor, Tyron Woodley, Daniel Cormier, Cain Velasquez, Dominick Cruz, Chris Weidman, Paige VanZant, Yair Rodriguez and Donald Cerrone.
