Aussie-Based XBlades To Be Apparel, Footwear Sponsor Of Major League Rugby Teams

Australian rugby kit maker XBlades has signed on to become the official on-field apparel and footwear brand of Major League Rugby, the seven-team startup due to begin play in April. As part of the multiyear deal, all teams and officials will wear XBlades-made jerseys and shoes. The home and away jerseys will be available for purchase through the teams and directly from XBlades. “We're excited to expand the company's international portfolio, and with this new MLR partnership, XBlades now has a presence in eight countries worldwide, and we can’t wait to see teams in the U.S. suit up in our XBlades apparel,” said XBlades CEO Leighton Richards. All seven teams’ kits can be seen on the league's website.
