Doosan Signs Three-Year Deal With MLB That Includes ALDS Presenting Sponsorship

Korean conglomerate Doosan has signed a three-year MLB sponsorship deal, which includes presenting sponsorship of both ALDS matchups. The deal, which runs through '20, includes domestic rights only and will be used to market the company’s construction business. Included in the deal is postseason TV and digital media inventory with MLB rights holders and in MLB-controlled media. Octagon negotiated the deal for Doosan. Each Doosan business unit gets an official designation: Official Construction & Mining Equipment Partner; Official Construction Equipment Partner; Official Industrial Vehicles Partner; Official Compact Equipment Partner; Official Energy Storage System Partner and Official Fuel Cells Partner. MLB’s first sale of an ALDS presenting sponsorship follows the rollout of MLB’s initial LCS presenting sponsorships, purchased by Camping World in a five-year deal. Doosan has sponsored the Open Championship since '10.
