After touring St. Jude Children's Research Hospital a few years ago, PGA Tour caddie SCOTT SAJTINAC and other caddies "agreed to start raising money for St. Jude" and a "fundraising platform for each caddie who belongs to the Association of Professional Tour Caddies was established." The caddies donated $41,000 in '16, their "first year of raising money." They have "already raised thousands more this year." The caddies "partnered with AT&T for the first AT&T Tour Caddie Championship" in Dallas on May 22. Today, about two dozen caddies will "participate in a corn hole tournament near the driving range at TPC Southwind" in Memphis. The fundraising link will "remain active" and the "goal is to raise" $50,000 this year (USA TODAY, 6/7).

GIVING BACK: Pistons Owner TOM GORES' FlintNOW initiative and the NBPA are giving $300,000 worth of "gift certificates for healthy food to Flint families through a partnership" with Michigan State. Gores "founded FlintNOW to provide private sector support for short-term relief efforts tied to the Flint water crisis and for long-term programs focused on economic development, nutrition and health care" in the area (MLIVE.com, 6/6).

NAMES: The Milwaukee Bucks Foundation yesterday awarded a $100,000 grant to the Running Rebels Community Organization (Bucks)....The Texas Sports HOF is "honoring" Texans Owner BOB MCNAIR next March with its Lamar Hunt Lifetime Achievement Award. McNair will be the fifth recipient of the Texas Sports HOF's "highest honor." Previous winners include former Spurs Owner RED MCCOMBS and former Astros Owner DRAYTON MCLANE (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 6/7)....USL Tampa Bay Rowdies Owner BILL EDWARDS "had a health scare last month when he traveled to Ohio to have a pacemaker installed." Doctors "ended up performing a double bypass surgery." Edwards is "recovering at home in St. Petersburg, keeping track of his business affairs." He said, "It'll take two or three months to get back to 100 percent" (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 6/7)....No nominee has "waited longer" than NFL Jets Owner WOODY JOHNSON for a post in PRESIDENT TRUMP’s administration, which "needs Senate confirmation." Johnson is expected to be nominated to be Ambassador to the U.K. (NJ.com, 6/6)....Warriors F KEVIN DURANT is a "part-owner of the Grill in the former Four Seasons Restaurant space" in N.Y. (N.Y. POST, 6/7).
