Miami-Based Motorsport Network named NASCAR VP/Digital Media COLIN SMITH CEO. Smith has spent the last five years with NASCAR, spending the last three years running NASCAR's digital business. His initial role with NASCAR had him overseeing the transition of its digital rights back in-house and building its end-to-end consumer platform (Motorsport Network).

THE GREAT OUTDOORS: Columbia Sportswear CEO TIM BOYLE has added the title of President, a role he also held from '88-'15. Meanwhile, effective July 1, Columbia will promote the following: TOM CUSICK to Exec VP & COO; FRANCO FOGLIATO to Exec VP & Americas GM; JOE BOYLE to Exec VP & Columbia Brand President; DOUG MORSE to Senior VP/Emerging Brands & APAC; and MATTHIEU SCHEGG to VP & EMEA GM. Columbia Exec VP, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel & Secretary PETER BRAGDON also will take on additional responsibilities, including oversight of international distribution, government affairs, external relations and corporate communications (Columbia).

EXECS: Hendrick Motorsports Exec VP & GM DOUG DUCHARDT "will leave the organization at the end of this month after 12 years." His responsibilities "will be assigned to multiple team members." The team "does not plan to fill" the GM role (AP, 6/6)....Oregon Sate Univ. named Univ. of Pitt Deputy AD/Internal Affairs DAN BARTHOLOMAE Deputy AD/Capital Projects & Internal Operations (OSU)....Fordham Univ. named Loyola Marymount Univ. Dir of Marketing JOEL LAWSON Associate AD/Marketing, Promotions & Tickets (Fordham)....The ECHL Worcester Railers hired PAUL HARRIS as Community Relations Coordinator (Railers).
