Patriots QB Tom Brady recently in a WEEI-AM interview discussed his new Under Armour Athlete Recovery Sleepwear line, saying, "I got them on right now." He added, "It’s just an incredible product. It really is. I’m not going to waste my time on anything that doesn’t work. In all my experiences in the last two years of wearing it, it’s just eight or nine hours of uninterrupted time." Brady said, "I try to wear it all day. I try and wear it as much as I can because I am either working out or I am recovering." Brady: "I have no doubt that this has helped me in a huge way for these last couple of years" (BOSTON GLOBE, 1/10).

A GOOD CALL: 7-Eleven will partner with Jim Dunn Racing and Oberto Beef Jerky for the '17 NHRA Championship Drag Racing Season. 7-Eleven's primary colors, green and orange, will be showcased at more than half of the 24 NHRA national events. Featured races will be in markets where 7-Eleven stores are accessible to race fans on their way to and from the race track (7-Eleven).

THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT: In Chicago, Karis Hustad noted the official app for Gold Medal-winning U.S. gymnast Aly Raisman, AlyRaismoji, “debuted on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store.” It already had “risen to #8 in the App store's entertainment category as of Friday.” The $1.99 app comes with a “library of 75 illustrated emojis that depict Raisman on the uneven bars, doing backflips on the beam, and twisting mid-air.” Raisman is the fourth member of the ‘16 Gold Medal-winning USA Gymnastics team “with her own emojis” (CHICAGOINNO.co, 1/6).

: ESPN.com’s Adel Chouadria notes French e-sports franchise Team Vitality has “secured a sponsorship with adidas” for ‘17 to make Vitality-exclusive gear. Team Vitality Owner Nicolas Maurer said, “It is an important sponsorship, as much on the financial standpoint as it is in terms of media, staffing and merchandising.” The deal with adidas is “one of the first exclusive clothing agreements" with an e-sports organization (ESPN.com, 1/10).
