76ers, Dunkin' Donuts Agree To Three-Year Deal, With Activations Starting This Week

The 76ers have added Dunkin' Donuts to their "roster of corporate partners" with a three-year deal, according to John George of the PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL. Financial terms were not available, but 76ers Senior VP/Corporate Development & Activation Chad Biggs said that the partnership "calls for Dunkin Donuts to be the official coffee, donut and breakfast sandwich provider" of the team. Fans will get their "first look at the various elements of the partnership" at tomorrow's home game against the Knicks. On days when the Sixers play at home, coffee "will cost 76 cents at the roughly 600 Dunkin Donuts locations in the 18 counties in the Greater Philadelphia region." The catch is the price "applies to a medium hot [or] ice coffee ordered using the store’s new 'on-the-go ordering' platform via the Dunkin Mobile app, and paid for using a DD Perks-enrolled card." Dunkin' Donuts and the Sixers will also be "giving away co-branded gift cards." At tomorrow's game, 200 "mini-parachutes carrying Dunkin Donuts gift cards and coffee cups will fall from the rafters for fans," and the team will also debut the "Dunkin Donuts Munchkin cam," which captures the team's young fans. Dunkin' Donuts Philadelphia area Field Marketing Manager Jessica Weissman said that they will have a "special red, white and blue Sixers donut that will be available at stores throughout March" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 1/9).
