Christmas Gifts: NBA Sponsors Finalizing Activation Plans For Sunday's Broadcasts

League sponsors are finalizing activation for five NBA Christmas Day games on ESPN and ABC, which include a rematch of last season's Finals. Harman, the NBA's official headphone, speaker and audio sponsor, will debut an ad featuring Warriors G Stephen Curry, while State Farm also will break its latest NBA-themed ad as part of its "Combinations" campaign. EA will continue its "12 Days of Christmas" campaign, supporting its NBA Live Mobile game. Verizon is presenting sponsor of NBA All-Star Game balloting, which begins on Sunday, and will be promoted during all five telecasts. While not a league sponsor, 20th Century Fox will be promoting two new films -- "Why Him" and "Hidden Figures." Three ads for "Hidden Figures" will debut on Christmas featuring Suns C Tyson Chandler, Clippers F Paul Pierce and Mavericks G Deron Williams and their daughters. adidas jerseys and Stance socks worn on-court during the games will be promoted on NBA social and digital channels. The marquee Warriors-Cavaliers game at 2:30pm ET will feature three players -- Cavs F LeBron James and G Kyrie Irving, along with Warriors F Kevin Durant -- wearing special colorways of their signature Nike shoes. Curry also will wear a special Under Armour shoe. Foot Locker ties in with a "Christmas Day Kicks" social media campaign.
