Lady Gaga Set To Headline Super Bowl Halftime; Pepsi Marketing Plans To Come
Lady Gaga will indeed be the halftime show headliner at Super Bowl LI after reports first popped up last week that she would perform at the game in Houston. Sources said that Gaga will be confirmed by Fox on Sunday during its NFL programming, most likely during its pregame show. Fox will televise Super Bowl LI from NRG Stadium on Feb. 5. Pepsi is the halftime show sponsor, and marketing plans regarding the Gaga/Pepsi pairing are to be determined, according to sources. Gaga sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara. This will mark Pepsi's sixth time as the Super Bowl halftime show sponsor, including the last four games. It has been an NFL corporate sponsor since '02.
