A Kid In A Candy Store: Ari Fleischer Stays Busy In Both Sports And Politics

Thirteen years after he started his eponymous communications company that "offers media management, strategy, advice, and training to sports organizations and corporations," former White House Press Secretary ARI FLEISCHER "has been busy," according to a profile by Jerry McKinstry of the WESTCHESTER magazine. Fleischer "remains a regular" on CNN, Fox and MSNBC to "speak candidly about politics." He said, "I find it really refreshing to weigh in on what the candidates are doing. It's a lot more enjoyable." McKinstry notes when Fleischer speaks, his passion for sports "is obvious." Fleischer and his staff "work with large corporations, sports leagues, coaches and premier athletes." Some of his current and former clients include IBM, MLB, the NFL, the NBA, the USOC and the CFP, among others. Another "high-profile individual client" is former NFLer PEYTON MANNING. WME-IMG’s SANDY MONTAG, Fleischer's business partner, said, "With Ari, it’s not just a passion for sports; it’s a knowledge of sports. He loves being in sports. He’s a kid in a candy store." Montag added not only do players and superstars respect Fleischer, but he "works with the highest level of executives -- commissioners, team owners and networks." Montag: "He commands respect in the sports world" (WESTCHESTER magazine, 4/10 issue).
