Can-Am Taking Over Title Sponsorship Of Phoenix' Fall Sprint Cup Race Next Year

Bombardier’s Can-Am brand on Friday will announce that it will entitle next year’s November NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix Int'l Speedway, meaning the ATV and motorcycle manufacturer will now have race entitlements that effectively bookend the season. The announcement at PIR for the Can-Am 500 next season comes a few weeks after Can-Am announced it will entitle next year’s Duel at Daytona that precedes the Daytona 500. Can-Am for the PIR race will replace Quicken Loans, which is sponsoring Sunday's penultimate Cup race. Quicken Loans also recently dropped its June Cup race entitlement at fellow ISC track Michigan Int'l Speedway. Bombardier Recreational Products Senior VP/Global Brand, Strategy & Information Anne Belec in a statement said the brand’s products are “a perfect fit for being part of the Chase for the Sprint Cup with NASCAR fans in Arizona, so many of which are fervent outdoor enthusiasts." She noted that new Bombardier President & CEO Jose Boisjoli has "promised new off-road models every six months and this is a great way to ensure maximum visibility for the Can-Am brand.”
