Stephen Curry Renews Partnership With Muscle Milk, Will Star in Spots Early Next Year

Muscle Milk announced it has renewed its partnership with Warriors G Stephen Curry through '18. Terms of the deal are undisclosed, but Curry appear in a national TV campaign in early '16. He also will take part in retail programs, point-of-sale materials, media opportunities and integration into local and national activations. The brand also released a limited-edition Stephen Curry bottle exclusively in the Bay Area with plans to national next year. Curry has been with the company since '13. The Muscle Milk extension is the latest addition to Curry's sponsorship portfolio. He earlier this week appeared in an ad promoting Apple's iPhone 6s, while Under Armour last week debuted its latest round of commercials starring the '14-15 NBA MVP (THE DAILY). Meanwhile, "Jeopardy" last night used Curry as the basis for a category called "Steph Curry Dishes." The answers included, "Steph dishes out thank yous to cafeteria workers who he thinks have made a special meal for him in an ad for this network," and "If Steph dishes out 10 assists along with collecting 10 points and 10 rebounds in a game, he achieves this coveted feat" ("Jeopardy," 10/26).

INCREASED CREDIT LIMIT: The Warriors and American Express have announced a multiyear sponsorship deal making AmEx the official card of the team, a designation it also has with the NBA. AmEx joins the Warriors Gold Alliance group, a partnership made up of key sponsors. The other Gold Alliance partners are City National Bank, Ignite Farm, Kasier Permanente, The Clorox Company and arena naming-rights partner Oracle (Warriors).
