CBS Signs Deal With ESPN To Sub-License Missouri Valley Conference Games

CBS Sports has signed a five-year deal to sub-license Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball games from ESPN. The deal, which runs through the '19-20 season, will keep the MVC Tournament championship game on the broadcast channel, which has carried the game for the past 10 years. Deal terms will put the tournament semifinals and eight regular-season games on CBS Sports Network. The MVC last week extended its rights deal with ESPN through '24. The conference had two teams make the NCAA Tournament last season: Wichita State and Northern Iowa.
