Liberty Mutual Picks Jack Morton Worldwide As Agency Of Record For Sports Sponsorships

Liberty Mutual has selected Jack Morton Worldwide to become its agency of record for sports and entertainment sponsorships. The Boston-based insurance company sponsors the USOC, the '14 FIFA World Cup (via its Brazilian division Liberty Seguros) and several national governing bodies (U.S. Ski & Snowboard, USA Hockey, U.S. Speed Skating and others). It had been working with several agencies on its USOC sponsorship, including 21 Marketing. Last year, it decided to consolidate its strategy and activation work under a single agency. It held an agency review and selected Jack Morton. The IPG agency does sports marketing work for General Motors. It does live-event work with Dow, Subway, Samsung and others.
