Clean Bill Of Health: WNBA Lynx To Sign Jersey-Sponsorship Deal With Mayo Clinic

The WNBA Lynx will announce later today that they have signed a marquee-level jersey deal with the Minnesota-based Mayo Clinic. Mayo also will be the team’s presenting partner for the upcoming '14 season, which begins on May 16. The deal includes in-arena court signage, and Mayo Clinic will also be the team’s medical provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. The Lynx become the sixth WNBA franchise to have a jersey sponsor. The Mayo Clinic logo will appear on both the team’s home and away jerseys. The jersey patch is part of a previously announced deal between the T'Wolves, who own the Lynx, and Mayo that includes the development of a training facility for the Lynx along with a Mayo Clinic-run sports medicine clinic near Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.
