Fila parent Sport Brands Int'l CEO JON EPSTEIN is leaving the company for personal reasons. Epstein joined Fila USA as President in '98. SBI also announced that CFO & President of European Operations ROBERT GALVIN has added the position of COO of Global Business, overseeing American, Asian and European Operations (SBI).

EXECS: The SGMA Int'l Baseball & Softball Council elected GEORGE MANNING as Chair, effective at the Council's next meeting on January 11, 2004. Manning replaces outgoing Chair LARRY CARLSON, who is Easton Sports VP/Research & Development (SGMA)....The Canadian Cricket Association named BANIKWARI LAL SENNIK as President (Toronto GLOBE & MAIL, 12/2)....The CFL Calgary Stampeders named CHRIS POFFENROTH as Dir of Finance & Administration (Stampeders)....Boston-based Dunham named KEVIN QUINN as Senior Product Development Manager in its Marketing Department. Previously, Quinn spent seven years at Nike (Dunham).

RACING: The Int'l Motor Sports Association (IMSA) named TIM MAYER to the newly created position of COO. Mayer, a former CART exec who assumed his duties on Monday, spent most of '03 as a contractor with CART and was responsible for design, promotion and operation of CART's two European races, as well as coordination of CART's int'l TV programming. IMSA also named National Corvette Museum Event Manager LARRY HAYES as Event Dir (IMSA)....The Business Development Department of Speedway Motorsports named Charlotte-based sports marketing consultancy Upsell Sports Owner MICHAEL BURCH as Manager of Business Development and promoted Client Services Coordinator JESSICA FICKENSCHER to Client Service Manager (SMI).

MEDIA: Time4 Media's Mountain Sports Media promoted Marketing Dir STEFANIE LUCIANO to VP/Marketing, Account Manager GREG FINN to Dir of Resort & Equipment Sales, Art Dir BETH RICCIARDI to Creative Dir and AMY ARTZER to Advertising Coordinator (Time4 Media).
