          PLAYER SIGNINGS: Univ. of AZ CB Chris McAllister has
     signed Stanley and Associates' Jerome Stanley to handle his
     contract and marketing representation (THE DAILY)....As
     noted in yesterday's issue of THE DAILY, Univ. of KY QB Tim
     Couch signed with IMG.  IMG Football President Tom Condon
     will handle contract negotiations and Senior Corporate VP
     Peter Johnson will lead the marketing team (IMG).
          OTHER NOTES: In St. Petersburg, Kyle Parks examined
     TransWorld Diversified Services sports marketing efforts. 
     Parks put the company's sports spending at about $2.6M a
     year, "an extremely large investment for an outfit with a
     relatively small $120-million in estimated revenues and no
     products or services to sell to the typical fan." 
     TransWorld Owner & CEO Skip Glass: "[I]f you see my sign at
     a game, you'll wonder who we are, and we can tell you when
     we meet you" (ST. PETERSBURG TIMES, 1/11).
