WILL JORDAN LET THE AIR OUT OF FOX FAMILY BIOPIC?

          Getting approval from Michael Jordan for a planned Fox
     Family Channel biopic "has been anything but a slam dunk,"
     according to the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.  Fox "got stuffed" by a
     statement issued by Jordan's agent, David Falk, which
     criticized such unauthorized projects that "seek to exploit
     my name, my achievements and my popularity for financial
     profit, without my consent."  Responding to the statement,
     Fox Family called Jordan "a true American hero" whose story
     is "an inspiration to everyone who has ever had a dream. ...
     We believe it's a film he'll be proud to watch on Fox Family
     with his own family" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 7/23).
