          SEARCHING FOR DEALS: S.F.-based Yahoo! is the official
     Internet sponsor of the U.S. Postal Service Pro Cycling Team
     through the '99 season (Yahoo!)....MA-based Lycos.com and
     VA-based Valleydale Foods will be title sponsor and
     presenting sponsor of the South Boston NASCAR Busch Grand
     National Series event.  The July 25 race will be called the
     Lycos.com 300 presented by Valleydale Foods (CMDC).
          ATTENTION, MARKETING EXECS: The U.S. government
     announced that the number of Hispanic children in the U.S.
     has surpassed the number of black children, "signaling the
     leading edge of a demographic wave that will transform the
     national profile in the coming decades."  The government
     report showed that there are 10.5 million Hispanic children
     under 18, "outnumbering black non-Hispanic children by
     35,000" (Barbara Vobeja, MIAMI HERALD, 7/15).
